Geni is like an index to find information on the internet by surnames of people. usually deceased and on a Family Tree. (heavily Ancestry database)


Look on an alphabetical list to find the surname for which you are searching.  There are many pages full of names.  Find the range of names that would include the name you want, and click on it.
