Addresses, General, Manufacturer 150th anniversary of the metal can industry, 1960, 2500 basic structures, 42 billion cans were manufactured in 1959 in the U.S., by Herman G. Nelson, Clark offices - 2300 6th St., dounder of Can Manufacturera' Institure, electrolyte process, employs 900 persons, five awards in 6 years for lithography, Frank D. White, Gem Flue Stopper, giant can, Howard C. Gregory - treasurer, incorporated in 1904, J. L. Clark Manufacturing Co., made 1M Springfield rifle clips per day in WWII, manufacture lithographed metal containers, old "water power" district, Peter Durand, Plant at Lancaster PA, plant at Stillman Valley, Ralph C. Rosecrnce president, Russell C. Gibson, scoth tape containers are made by J.L. Clark Co., son J. Harold Clark, Stanley W. Roebe - secretary, William R. Franklin - exec. vice-president
