Architect’s sketch shows the new Rockford Central Catholic high school constructed at 4100 No. Main St……Plans for a spring fund drive for the building were announced today by pastors of 15 parishes to be served by the new high school.

School was designed by Hubbard and Hyland, Rockford architects.

Phantom Regiment…Marches to Win at Home

buglerPhantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps performed before 5400 at Boylan High School Friday to win first place in the Show of Shows.  Visiting marching units included Spirit of Atlanta; Sun Coast Sound of Tampa, FL; Crossmen of Philadelphis; 27th Lancers of Revere, MA; Cavaliers of Rosemont, IL; Bridgemen of Batonne, NJ; Sky Ryders of Hutchinson, KS.

Lady Lake, FL—-

born in Rockford and graduated from Boylan High School in 1984.

Medical Degree in 1992 from the University of Illinois and was a Plastic Surgeon, practicing most recently in Lady Lake, Florida.

He proudly served as a major in the U.S. Army Reserves and was elevated to active duty status and served in Iraq.

Died July 15, 2014 in Crystal River, Florida.

Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, St. Bridget Catholic Church.
