WWII – Army – KIA Clevenger, Pvt. Leroy

son of Mr. and Mrs. Granville W. Clevenger, 1014 School St., was killed in action November while serving in an army ordnance co. in France. One of 4 brothers who served in the armed forces, had been overseas since July. He was first stationed in England and then in France. Former employee of Burd Piston Ring Co. He entered the army June 1943 and did his basic training at Aberdeen, Md. He then was stationed at Camp Reynolds, Pa. Three brothers in service, 3 other brothers, 6 sisters
