Mrs. Anna M. Johnson 85, 2208 16th Ave., died Monday June 15, 1970 at Swedish-American Hospital. born May 22, 1885 in Sweden lived 64 years in Rockford coming here from Sweden. married Hjalmer Johnson in Chicago April 30, 1910, 1 son, 5 daughters survive.

Born July 19, 1920 in Strawberry Point, Iowa, the son of Richard Edwin Homewood and Lorena Emma (Moser) Homewood.
Graduate Strawberry Point High School, attended University of Minnesota, then went to work for Woodward Governor Co.
He joined the Navy in 1943, where he was trained in Navy Electronics at Oklahoma A & M and Treasure Island, CA.
During WWII, he served as a radar technician in the South Pacific, surviving a Japanese bombing attack while on board the USS Orestes in December of 1944.
Ken served two terms on the Loves Park City Council, he also served on the Winnebago County Board, and on the Tinker Swiss Cottage Board, member of Court Street Methodist Church.
Died August 12, 2014.
Honquest Funeral Home; visitation and memorial service in the Van Sickle Room, Wesley Willows.
