“Peaches Have Normal Home Life as Local Families Provide Rooms”
“Members of the Rockford Peaches spend their home life much the same as any work-a-day girl who rooms in a private home. In the top photo, left, Jean Lovell and Ruth Richard, both catchers, prepare their morning breakfast; center, Dotty Kamenshek and Snookie Harrell sit down to toast, coffee and eggs at breakfast; while at right, Lois Florreich and Dotty Ferguson spend idle moments piecing together a jigsaw puzzle. The photo at the bottom shows Alice Pollitt and Marge Holgerson writing letters to home folk.”
