Albert Falcon

“An old Rockford resident and Civil War veteran died recently in Fruitvale, California

A native of Germany, he came to Rockford in 1858

Enlisted in Co. C, 15th Illinois Infantry in 1861

He was taken prisoner and his experiences in Andersonville weakened his health

Mr. Falcon was a brother of Mrs. D. C. Chandler

Internment was in the Soldier’s Plot, Mountain View, Oakland, California”
