“Father of R.K. Welsh Dead”¬† Thomas Welsh of Waukesha, WI died this morning of old age. A native of Scotland, he came to America 1841 and settled near Waukesha.

George Liddell became county judge in 1930. Oren M. Williams defeated Liddell as County judge in 1934. Four year term. Fred J. Kullberg followed Oren M. Williams, 34 years. probate court in Winnebago County was established in 1922. First to hold the position was Walker F. Hull. Judge Fred Carpenter, 4 years 1934-1938. Following Carpenter, Morris J. Hinchcliff. Died while in office, 1946, aged 68. following Hinchcliff’s death, Laverne Clarence “Dick” Miller was appointed judge. Seeley P. Forbes weas elected as (final) probate judge in 1946-1964. Probate position was abolished in 1964.
