Gerald L. Tresemer, Coxswain, 22
Son of Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Tresemer, 1037 Elm Street was killed in action with the US fleet in Hawaiian waters. The Navy Department informed his parents yesterday. Young Tresemer was the first Rockford man killed since hostilities between the United States and Japan began.
