“The MetroCentre’s downtown storefront at 102 No. Main may have seen its last restaurant.”
“The Metropolitan was the third business to lease the space and, at five years, the MetroCentre’s longest tenant. The Main Event, a sports bar, opened in April 1986 and closed two years later when its owners declared bankruptcy. Oscar’s, a nightclub and restaurant, last nine months. Its owners also declared bankruptcy.”
“Rotello said her business — which includes the Brynwood Metropolitan, a catering and wholesale operation that supplies, among others, Barnes and Noble’s coffee bar with desserts — is good. With her downtown restaurant closed, she wants to expand.”
