Balok, Joseph J. “Joe”

He was born in April 18, 1926 in Kenosha, Wis., the son of Joseph and Irma (Svoda) Balok.

Joe served in the Merchant Marines during WWII, and after the war served with the Army Engineers.

1953 graduate Michigan State University, Lansing and attended University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Long-time member Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

Died Sept. 11, 2014, in his home.

Fitzgerald Funeral Home; Our Savior’s Lutheran Church; Cremation rites have been accorded, burial at a later date.
