“I wish all of us could see and learn”Holocaust ‘liberator’ traveled to Poland to attend the March of the Living. For years kept the memories of May 6,1945 to himself. Parsinger and tanks from his 3rd Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron discovered a concentration camp in Ebensee, Austria, as we looked down on prisoners we began to cry tears. On April 15, persinger traveled to Poland with his son, Alan, to attend the March of the Living, an international educational program that brings Jewish teens from all over the world to Poland on Holocaust Memorial Day.The teens march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, the largest concentration camp complex built during World War II.”I wished all of us could see and learn of how hottible the Holocaust of the World War II era was.”
