Band formed more than 30 years ago. Between 1974 and the band’s first album in 1977.

Rick Nielsen, guitarist; Bun E. Carlos, drummer; Robin Zander, singer; Tom Petersson, bassist.

Started as Fuse in the late ’60s with Neilsen and Petersson.

Fuse changed name to “Sick Man of Europe”, returned to Illinois in 1973.

1973 formed Cheap Trick after adding Bun E. Carlos and Randy “Xeno” Hogan.

“I Want You to Want Me” became Cheap Trick’s first Top 10 Hit.
