After some debate, our current thinking is that the State St. Bridge is in the picture, and to our right is actually The Rockford Register-Gazette, which as in the first block of No. Wyman at the time. There is a sign above the men standing toward the right that says Rockford Boat Club, who in 1906, built 2 frame structures at “the foot of Mulberry” which would be between the Main Library and the Morrissey building today. Sometimes we are wrong!
