Donald Albin Pearson, 79, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, peacefully in his sleep at Wesley Willows. Born Nov. 2, 1931, in Rockford, the son of Albin and Eva (Anderson)Pearson.  Don served our country during the Korean War.  Don attended Rockford Public Schools and graduated from Northwestern University in 1960 with a degree in communications.  Don was the longtime owner/operator of the Dog’N’Suds restaurant on South Alpine Rd.  He was also employed many years by B&H Office Furniture on Broadway.

69, former Rockford resident, who died Monday at Alhambra, California. Services at Zion Lutheran Church, Rev. E.G. Knock, officiating. Burial will be in Scandinavian Cemetery formerly lived at 1644 Oakes Ave., and in 1939 went to California with his wife. Born November 1, 1872 in Bornholm, Denmark, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Frederick Lundgren. He came to the United States when he was 12 years old. He resided first in Brisbon, Pa. He married Miss Anne Hansen on Dec 24, 1895 at Patton, Pa. Leaves Three daughters and a son (listed in obituary)
