Dismuke, Bobby L., Sr.

Born Sept. 11, 1948, the son of Willie and Florenzia Dismuke, in Dermott, AR.

He lived in Rockford 47 years, coming here from Pioneer, LA.

Retired from Mattison Machine, then worked 17 years at Dial Machine, Inc.

He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army.

Died Oct. 4, 2011, after a long illness.

Reppen, William E. “Bill,” Sr.

Clinton, Wis—-

William E. Reppen, Sr., 85, passed away May 24, 2014, in Beloit Memorial Hospital.

Bill was born on Nov. 17, 1928 in South Bend, IN, son of Joseph N. and Aurelia Morrissey Reppen.

He was a 1947 graduate of Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Bill was in the Naval Reserves from 1947 to 1951, and then enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving from 1951 to 1953. He was a Chief Track Vehicle Mechanic in the Korean War and received the Korean War Service Medal, the Bronze Star Service Medal and the U.N. Service Medal.

Seven children; his son, David, of Rockford, IL.

Died May 24, 2914.

Funeral mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Clinton, WI.

Lequire, Wayne, Sr.

Rockford —  Wayne Lequire, Sr., 81, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014 in Rockford.

Born April 22, 1932, in North Carolina, son of Columbus and Ann Lequire.

served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict.

Funeral services in Indian Trail Church of God in Aurora, IL.  Dieter Memorial Funeral Home, burial in Lincoln Memorial Park.

Hillburst, George, Sr.

Born March 3, 1923, in Rockford, the son of Inga Olson.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater, from 1943-1946.

George was the owner/operator of Commercial Printing from 1948-1989.

Died May 18,2014 in his home.

Sundberg Funeral Home is assisting the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
