Twigg, Joe M.

Forreston——

Died Feb. 13, 2015 at Manor Court in Liberty Village.

Born Aug. 22, 1921, in Haldane, Illinois, the son of Linus and Annie (Long) Twigg.

Married Dorothy A. Lewis in Forreston.

Joe was a U.S. Navy-Marine veteran (1943-1946) serving in World War II.  Joe and his brother landed at Iwo Jima Beach.

Worked for the State of Illinois and for Chrysler Corp.

Member Faith Lutheran Church in Forreston.

Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home; Faith Lutheran Church; Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
