“Greenfire Market’s savory Chicken Crepe is one of the dishes that chefs from local restaurants and senior citizen facilities will serve in sample sizes at the first Rockford’s Best Dish fundraiser for Lifescape Community Services Inc. on Thursday. The event will be at Tebala Shrine Temple, 7910 Newburg Rd.
“The crepe is a favorite of customers at Greenfire, just like it was when owner Philippe Forcioli owned the now-closed Café Patou in Rockford years ago.”
“Forcioli also will serve sample sizes of Strawberry Short Cake. It is a vanilla cake drizzled with rum, French buttercream with chopped pistachio, and chocolate shavings.”
