Excelsior Furniture Co. – 1891

“Excelsior Furniture Co.. Organized in 1881, with a capital stock of $50,000.  The present officers are Thos. D. Reber, President; August Haegg, Vice-President; C. F. Salstrom, Secretary and Treasurer. They manufacture a fine grade of parlor furniture. The annual output is $90,000.  They employ seventy-five hands, with an annual pay roll of $35,000. The factory is of brick and wood, 60×100 and 80×100, three stories in height, with an engine house 60×20.”
