65, died suddenly Thursday of a heart attack at home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Burt, Los Angeles services at Wilbur Christenson Funeral Home, Temple Baptist Church, Scandinavian Cemetery. Made her home here for many years until going to Los Angeles in 1935. Born Josie Edburg Nov 1, 1878 in Sweden, came to U.S. when she was 18. Several nieces and nephews in Rockford including Mrs. Emil Borden, 1639 13th Ave.

Charles A. Johnson 86, funeral services will be held at Wilbur Christenson funeral home Saturday; Zion Lutheran Church
died after 6 month illness at Swedish-Americam; burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Born 3/14/1858 in Smoland Sweden; came to Rockford in 1888, married Augusta Carlson 1889 survived by his widow and 4 children all of Rockford, 2 grandsons; brother in Sweden.
