Schelin, Carl O.

Born in Norrkoping, Sweden.

Emigrated from Sweden with family in 1928.

Son of Elin and Otto Schelin.

Married in 1945, at Lincoln Army Base, Lincoln, Nebraska.

WWII veteran. Second Lieutenant, an Air Force pilot.

1939 graduate of Rockford Central High School.

He attended Rockford College for 2 years and graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering BSME.

He was employed by Woodward Governor Co. and a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church.

He died Dec. 3, 2014, in Bonifay Nursing Home, in Bonifay, FL.
