Beach Boys at YWCA Canteen

The Beach Boys to play at YWCA Canteen

Friday, April 26, 1963 from 8 PM – midnight

The rock and roll band concert was open to all teenagers.

The band had just left Honolulu to come to Rockford as part of their Midwest tour.

THEY PLAY AT CANTEEN Y.W.C.A. Teen Canteen will feature music by "The Beach Boys" from 8 to midnight, Friday April 28 at the Y. The dance is open to all teenagers. Currently on a Midwest tour, having just left Honolulu, "The Beach Boys" are known for their records, "Surfin' Safari", "409", "Ten Little Indians" and their cnew release "Surfin' USA". From left above they are Brian, Mike, Dennis, Carl and David.
